Individual Exercises from Daily Energy Balancing
These individual exercises help you cope with specific life challenges. Check out the Daily Energy Balancing page to watch how to combine these into one flowing routine.
Belt Flow
The Belt Flow is a band of energy around the waist. By clearing this energy you help facilitate the flow of energy going from the feet to the head and vice versa. It will also help you feel more grounded, that is feel your physical presence in this moment.
Celtic Weave
The Celtic Weave will help make your aura more robust and connected to your body. This will be helpful if you find yourself impacted by energy. If you’re in groups or around lots of electromagnetic energy (e.g. malls & airports) and feel tired, do the Celtic Weave before or during such situations.
Connecting Sky & Earth
Connecting Sky & Earth is a great way of boosting energy to your immune system and to your joints. You are a transmitter of energy between the Earth & the Cosmos. This exercise helps you experience that connection. Donna Eden calls it “Connecting Heaven and Earth.”
Crown Pull
The Crown Pull is a great exercise if you feel any tension or congestion in your head. It allows the energy to flow more easily throughout the head and neck area.
Diaphragm Release
The Diaphragm Release technique creates space for energy to flow into your diaphragm. Everyday stressors create tension in the diaphragm making it harder to have an easy and complete breath. This isometric exercise can loosen blocked energy in that region helping you breathe easier and feel calmer.
4 Thumps
With the 4 Thumps, you are tapping on the stomach and kidney meridians, the thymus area, and the spleen meridian–in that order. The stomach meridian can help you feel more grounded and less worried. The kidney meridian helps bring in energy through the feet which energizes the body while also calming anxiety. Tapping over the thymus and spleen areas sends energy to your immune system.
Grounding-Clearing the Gaits
Clearing the Gaits allows for the energy from the Earth to easily enter the body through the feet. It helps us feel grounded and have more vital energy throughout the body.
Grounding-Spooning the Feet
Spooning the feet is another way to ground and open up the feet to receive energy from the Earth. It needs to be a stainless steel spoon to be effective.
Homolateral Cross Crawl
The Homolateral Cross Crawl gets energy crossing over the body, similarly to how the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body. The energies naturally go parallel when the body wants to rest. However, when the energy is chronically not crossing over you can feel lethargic, fatigued, or even depressed. It can also make you feel uncoordinated and unfocused. If so, you’ll want to do this several times a day for 2-3 months to overcome that imbalance.
Hook-Up
The Hook-Up is connecting the central and governing meridians with each other. These two meridians run through the midline of the body and go through all the chakras while also feeding energy to all the meridians. It is helpful for overall well-being and has been found effective for some types of nausea. It can also help with feeling more focused and centered.
Neurolymphatics
The lymph system clears toxins from the body and can develop stagnant energy when you are more sedentary. When Neurolymphatic points are rubbed firmly, it helps clear any stagnant energy in the lymph system. Remember to move regularly and consider massages as another way of clearing stagnant energy.
Resetting the Valves
Energy can get clogged around the Ileocecal and Houston Valves within the intestinal tract. The Ileocecal valve, found between the small and large intestine, and the Houston valve, which is really the big bend in the large intestine, are both necessary for effective elimination. This exercise clears the energy and supports a healthy gastrointestinal tract.
Universe Rushing In
Universe Rushing In is a way to experience your loving connection with the Universe. First, ground and come into your body, then reach out and soak up the radiant energies that are foundational to your nature. Eden Energy Medicine calls this, Heaven Rushing In.
Wayne Cook
The Wayne Cook exercise is great if you are having any emotional overwhelm. In addition, I’ve seen it help people who are scattered, unfocused, or may have difficulty reading.
Wayne Cook-Alternate
This has a similar effect as the regular Wayne Cook exercise. It can be done standing or sitting. Use it in a meeting or classroom by crossing your ankles. Then cross your hands over casually in your lap. It is a way of staying focused and present while being with others.
Zip-Up
The Zip-Up is moving energy up the Central Meridian and locking it in. The Central Meridian starts at the base of the pubic bone and extends up to the bottom lip. This meridian goes through all the chakras. The Zip-Up helps protect you from electromagnetic energies that may be dissonant to your system.
