Thriving and Awakening Tip
We are seekers, searching for certain qualities such as value. We are searching because we don’t realize we already have value. Our judgments want life to be just so, then we’ll have value. For example, “I’ll feel good about myself once I achieve a promotion.” Our ego has a tendency to see our value after doing something.
Thriving is learning to see our value and worth is inherent and not contingent upon something. We tend to see the inherent value in a newborn. There is no expectation they’ll be doing anything. Over time we shift and become disappointed or frustrated in ourselves or others for not doing something right.
As long as you are searching for something, you are strengthening the belief you aren’t it already. Take a moment and be in awe of who you are, now. Amazing!
