Thriving and Awakening Tip

The experience of Awareness shifts as we move from Survival Mode into Thriving and Awakening. In Survival Mode the focus is on doing something that feels safe and connected. It includes judging people, things, and ourselves as well as doing what is necessary to get our needs met.

In Thriving Mode we are starting to shift from doing to being. We are practicing being more aware from a place of acceptance and compassion. We develop the capacity to be more present and choose how to think, feel, and behave.

In Awakening Mode, it shifts again. Rather than a focus on doing something to become more awake, we are the Awareness we’ve been seeking. Being the Awareness is a way of living as presence, being grounded, open-hearted, and clear-minded in the present moment. There is both stillness and dynamism in this experience. We identify less as our roles in life and more with awareness as the essence of our nature.
