Self-Discovery: Conscious Awareness

Welcome to "What is Conscious Awareness?"

The term “Conscious Awareness” reflects that part of the journey when you are more conscious of your ego and how it can evolve. For example, musicians or wine connoisseurs will have a heightened awareness of music or wine respectively. They develop this capacity over time by learning and savoring the nuances of their passion.

You are learning and savoring the flavors of your awareness. You are already aware of many aspects of your ego such as your emotions, thoughts, and relationships with others. The courses and tools are designed to help you heighten that awareness, so you can discover your deepest nature as your personality evolves. You are learning to be more conscious of the nuances of your awareness.

You start this process by using the tools Ground & Breathe, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Self Inquiry. These all help you develop the capacity to be more conscious about your awareness. This consciousness allows you to choose what thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are in your best interest. As you become more consciously aware, it becomes second nature and you experience yourself as Conscious Awareness.

The following video is an overview of Conscious Awareness. The Core Concepts discussed challenge the nature of your ego as you’ve understood it. This challenge is necessary to help you see what is possible for you. Remember to Ground & Breathe while having Compassionate Curiosity about discovering your potential. Pause the video occasionally to reflect on its meaning in your life.

Living as Conscious Awareness

Developing Conscious Awareness and then Living as that is a life long endeavor.  This website is designed to support you in that journey.  The Steps on Your Journey takes you through the different phases of that development.  The Tools for Your Journey teach you the strategies you’ll need to follow the steps, and the Fuel for Your Journey provides the energy and inspiration to face and sustain your awakening.

Remember this is a process of exploring and continually returning to your Conscious Awareness.  Here are some suggestions and links to the Tools to support that journey:

  1. Develop Mindfulness so that you are more aware of when you get lost in egoic stories, so you can then choose to return to Awareness.
  2. When you get lost remind yourself, “Of course” I did, it is a natural part of humanness.
  3. Ground & Breathe to be with the reactivity with Compassionate Curiosity and Complete Acceptance.
  4. Do some form of calming or clearing the reactivity.
  5. Return and reside within Awareness.
