Survival Mode is natural in all of us. It’s wired into our brain and body to protect us in life-threatening situations. However, these same survival reactions occur during everyday stress which negatively impacts our immune system, emotions, and relationships.
By recognizing and accepting survival tendencies we can learn to manage them, allowing us to choose how to respond rather than automatically react. Choosing our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is the hallmark of thriving.
