Thrive and Awaken® Tip

Thank goodness we have an operating system (e.g. Widows or IOS) on our computers, otherwise we’d be overwhelmed interpreting all the electrical activity in the circuitry.

Similarly, we are fortunate our sensory systems filter all the quantum and electromagnetic energies at the foundation of our existence. We’d be overwhelmed seeing the other 99% of electromagnetism we know to exist. Yes, we perceive less than 1% of reality.

Without filters we’d also hear all cell phone calls at once and physically sense every volcanic and earthquake rumble around the world. You get the picture. Our sensory systems protect us from being overwhelmed.

We’d also be overwhelmed if exposed to the extreme complexities of reality. Thinking about the universe is comprised of trillions of galaxies can be overwhelming. To prevent overwhelm our egos creates stories about ourselves and others. These stories consume us, and we orient our whole life around them.

The irony is that our stories of life can also feel overwhelming. We can learn how to manage that overwhelm using Thrive and Awaken® Tools.
