In Survival Mode your body is wired to react quickly to protect yourself and others. Your fight, flight, freeze reactions get activated when you don’t feel emotionally or physically safe or connected to others. Thank goodness this happens automatically in life-threatening situations.
Unfortunately, it also happens to a lesser extent for everyday stressors like the weather, a physical distress, or when someone you care about doesn’t treat you kindly. This creates ongoing anxiety, frustration, and even depression that produce stress hormones negatively impacting your immune system.
When you do the inner work to shift to Thriving Mode you learn to manage this reactivity so you can choose how to think, feel, and behave. Thriving allows you to be more grounded, heartfelt, and clear minded resulting in more sustained happiness and well-being. You deserve to Thrive!!
