Thriving and Awakening Tip

It is wired into everyone to bond with others. We want to feel a part of something whether it is a family, good friends, organizations, or sports teams. This instinct allowed our ancestors to stay in tribes for safety, food, and procreation.

If we don’t feel bonded with love, we are likely to bond around hatred. In the news we see people bonding together and hating a different political party, religion, race, or sexual orientation to name just a few. Many people can’t see their hatred. They justify their behavior and opinion because they believe it to be correct, or it’s an allegiance to a group.

Notice this week when you come together with others, are you bonding around love or some common dislike or hatred? How do the experiences differ?

Thriving is choosing to bond with love. If you don’t consciously choose, your automatic tendency will prevail.
