Thrive and Awaken® Tip
When was the last time you were spontaneously playful? If you have to think about that, you may want to consider learning to be more playful. Watch how children are naturally curious and playful. Engaging and laughing with them is a quick path to joy.
Adults frequently become inhibited in their play. Many have a desire to achieve and do things well to support the ego that is plagued with the perception of not being enough. This need to accomplish can interfere with the experimentation inherent in play. Think about a time you were reluctant to try something new because you didn’t think you’d be very good at it.
The tip is “Be playful learning to be playful”. The trick is you don’t have to be good at play. Allow yourself to explore the unknown and whatever emerges is something to delight in. Choose to be silly. You will discover and learn something regardless of what emerges. It’s an opportunity to release judgments and not have to win at something.
Embrace how the creative life forces are expressing through you. Yes! Enjoy!
